Step by step
Every explanation follows four steps: understand the problem and plan, choose a method, solve carefully, check the result. Students follow the logic instead of copying an answer.
We teach children, including our own, and we want every child taught well.
MathWill brings that to students online, at any level. The goal is simple: less time feeling stuck on a problem.
Mathy (you can also call him Matt or Matthew) is MathWill's virtual math teacher. He guides students through each problem step by step, with the patience of a real tutor and a bit of humor.
Mathy is software, but he acts like a teacher, not a calculator: he leads students to understand, not just to an answer. Teachers and engineers shaped how he teaches, and students can adjust parts of his personality and teaching style.
Every explanation follows four steps: understand the problem and plan, choose a method, solve carefully, check the result. Students follow the logic instead of copying an answer.
Graphs, animations, worked examples and clear definitions turn hard ideas into steps that are easier to follow and remember.
Work is checked automatically, so students see what went right and what to fix while it is still fresh. They can try again and track their progress.
Each answer tells MathWill a little more about the student. When a topic needs more time, it changes the order of tasks and adds support material. When the student is ready, it moves on.
Experienced math teachers write and review the lessons. They know the mistakes students often make and the order that keeps new ideas clear. The software decides what each student sees next.
For students meeting a topic for the first time, and for students rebuilding the basics. Courses run from beginner to advanced level.
